She wrote on the Showtime TV series WORK IN PROGRESS, and is currently developing a few features. Her screenwriting work has placed in the Austin Film Festival, PAGE Awards, Final Draft Big Break, and several other major competitions.

Sarah’s essays and articles have been published by Betches, Slate, Bustle, Shondaland, Digital Spy, Elite Daily, and many more, and she’s produced digital content for places like The Onion/AV Club, Greenpeace, and Spotify.

She is also passionate about creative and community-building work that helps people better connect to each other and themselves. At Heartbeat House, she works as the community and content manager, and teaches children’s creative arts. She’s also a teacher at Sinai Learning Center and a peer counselor with Exhale Pro-Voice. Sarah’s taught writing to people of all ages with Pluto’s WriteGirl, Heartbeat House, and private coaching sessions.

After graduating from Wesleyan University with a degree in Film Studies, Sarah moved from New York to Chicago to study comedy at The Second City, before finally making her way to Los Angeles, which she now calls home. Thus, Sarah’s achieved the meaningless but still notable accomplishment of having lived in the three largest U.S. cities, and, subsequently, she has complex feelings about pizza.
